About Malta

Malta has a lot to offer the day or weekend sailor.  Situated halfway between the coasts of Sicily and North Africa, and in gin-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, the smattering of islands is made up of Malta, Gozo and Comino, together with two smaller islands Cominetto and Filfla. Besides the excellent sailing, there are many draws. Extraordinary diving is further enhanced by a number of new wrecks in the area, the stunning dramatic backdrops are often used in blockbuster films shot at the Mediterranean Film Studios in Malta, and between Malta and her islands there are a host of beautiful secluded bays, beaches and coves. For those who prefer the open water, a day trip to Sicily for lunch can provide the perfect escape.

Cuisine

One of the many benefits of cruising the waters of the Maltese Islands is the access to stunning backdrops, quiet secluded coves, swathes of deserted sands and protected anchorages where you can choose between hitting the deck with a cool glass of Chablis, or snorkelling, diving or taking the tender to the beach.

Malta has a rich gastronomic heritage as a result of the many invaders who have bought their culinary culture with them. The result is a medley of eclectic tastes. Our charters can be fully catered to suit any requirements and dietary needs. We are reputed for our use of superb local produce, fine wines and variety of menus.
